Height: 5’3
Weight: 112 lbs
Eyes: brown
Hair Colour & Style: Dark brown, near black, used to be always in a braid; she recently cut it very short because it was easier to deal with.
Skin tone: Pale but she has freckles across the bridge of her nose and across her back. Her cheeks are also always rosy, she hates it; in Hogwarts she tried to cover it up with some glamour spell but it back-fired. She’s never tried again.
Build: Short in stature she is lean and very fragile looking, but is really quite tough. When she worked as a hitwitch she had to work out regularly, now it’s just become a habit.
Distinguishing Marks: None, but the freckles on her nose and back. Does have a white birth mark on the inside of her right thigh. Now has a small scar on her side due to a slashing hex.
Dress Style: (remember that most wizards would wear robes, and that there is a war going on which might effect supplies) Plain simple robes.
Things they would always carry with them (optional): Her wand is always on her person somewhere, usually shoved down a boot, and has her mother’s wedding ring on her right middle finger.
Other: Nothing all that significant, she can be found wearing boots on particularly rainy days.

Health
Disabilities/Handicaps: She has a bad knee (the left) that flares up at random times causing it to be hard to walk and it always aches when it rains.
Health in general – both mental and physical: Fine physically, mentally she’s drained and almost cold-hearted because of all the stresses she’s dealt with. Is particularly having a hard time dealing with the death of her boyfriend and father of her son, Kingsley Shacklebolt.

Personality
First Impression (others have of you): Those that knew her before but haven’t seen her in a long time expect the bubbly shy girl from years previous; it’s quite a shock when the find she’s cold, reserved, and to the point. People that didn’t know her before usually see a withdrawn bitch. She doesn’t care to make new friends because she doesn’t trust people, and the few she does have she may not even fully trust.
General Behaviour: Cold, reserved, bullheaded. She used to be fun, bubbly, and shy; but the war has damaged her, and where before she was an optimist, now she is a realist. She is quick to the point, and will leave in the middle of the conversation if she finds it useless, so very annoyed by small talk. The only time she is ever cordial is with old friends and the new werewolves that come to her clinic.
Strengths: Working with animals, healing in general. She knows how horrible the war is on people physically, especially on werewolves that don’t get a lot of treatment because of prejudice.
Weaknesses: Trusting people, she used to be a very trusting person but now the only two people she has complete and utter trust in is McGonagall and Kingsley. She is also rather of a pansy when it comes to animals, she turns into mush around them. She may be a coldhearted bitch, but she can’t resist puppy eyes. She also is stubborn, even going so far as to ignore the blatant truth if it helps her survive.
Habits: Drinks coffee at weird hours, and she tends to chew on her lip when thinking/concentrating or bored (this used to be her hair until she chopped it all off).
Enjoys: Working in the garden, taking care of animals, mothering the few werewolves at the clinic, spending time with Kingsley.
Dislikes: Other stubborn people, which makes her feel a bit hypocritical somewhere in her unconscious, Death Eaters, Death Eater werewolves, anyone who can’t see beyond themselves, just other people in general.
Other: Hestia has been madly in love with Kingsley Shacklebolt for over two years but her coldness keeps them just out of reach of a real relationship and she’s even afraid to try and break that barrier.

Bloodline: Mother was a pureblood, father was muggle-born
Family History: : Regina (King) Jones, was born to a prominent pure-blood family and fell in love with Hestia’s muggle-born father the same year she gained the quidditch plaque (1969, also her seventh year [Ps/f only]). Fearful of what they would say the two eloped and did not tell the family of her whereabouts until she became pregnant with Hestia in 1972; surprisingly her family accepted her and her husband with open arms. Her maternal grandmother died when Hestia was around four years old (right at the beginning of the first war) because she was protecting her daughter from Death Eaters when they went after her for marrying a muggle-born. Hestia found this out during the start of the second war and was one of the reasons she joined the Order. She also gained her little sister, Ginger, that same year.
In 2003 her mother and her got into an argument about the Order and what it was doing to Hestia and by the end of the week her mother and sister were killed leaving her the only surviving family of the King side as her grandfather died of natural causes in 1998. Her paternal grandparents are alive and well, but moved to America…she thinks in Texas somewhere and hasn’t seen them in years. Personally she feels it’s for the better considering the state England is (as they’re muggles).
Pets: She used to have a whole plethora of animals but has had to release many of them or sell them. Of those she used to have she now is down to one kneazle (Icarus)and an owl (Potato).

Social/Romantic/Sexual
Close Friendships: Kingsley Shacklebolt, her father. She wishes she had girl friends, but the trust issues get in the way. Besides those at her Clinic and her children she is rather reserved.
Known Enemies: Death Eaters

Turn Ons: Intelligence, men that wear reading glasses, neck kisses (not that she’s had many of those), athletic men a.k.a. quidditch players/aurors/muscles. She’s particularly finding herself attracted to bald men with gold hoop earrings.
Turn Offs: Bad teeth/breath, dirty fingernails, blondes for some weird reason
Past Relationships: The only relationship she had was with a muggle boy right out of Hogwarts. She had crushes on a TON of quidditch players at school, including Charlie Weasley, but never told him, nor any of the others.
What they think about sex and love: Love is painful and at this point she would rather just like to be spared the pain. Sex, well, she's not to interested in it, really.

Magical weaknesses/aversions (what your character can't or won't do): Horribly horrible and transfiguration, she thinks this has something to do with the way it was taught (Sorry McMongall!! X( ) she just was never happy with turning cute little animals into inanimate objects.
First sign of magic – when and what: In a small muggle primary school she got bored during a lesson and doodled a little griffin (her mother was reading her “Sally the Jolly Griffin” at bedtime) on her homework and then started making up a story about it when it started to move. She ran home later and told her parent’s and pulled out the little griffin picture (that was still moving) and they were ecstatic.
Boggart: A zombie/inferi form of Kingsley blaming her for everything that happened. (Does not know of the change, though would not be too surprised)

Knows how to cast a patronus (y/n – if yes what?): Yes, it’s a black swan. Pretty but mean as hell.
Knows how to use the unforgivables (y/n): No, but she’s pretty sure if she ever found out who attacked her mother and sister she’d be able too. Sickingly, she’s looking forward to it.

Monetary Situation: good, her maternal grandparents left her their estate which she sold and now keeps the money in an undisclosed location.
Other: The werewolf clinic makes no money but she has enough money stashed away she’s not worried about it, and even if it did come down to it she can work at the Shrieking Shack or the Clearwater Clinic if Penelope would have her.

Faction this character supports: Aligned behind McGonagall, she believes in a united world, always had; but she sometimes wonders if she’s aligned herself this way because of Dumbledore and McGonagall.
Role in the ongoing war: Running the Clinic, doing any missions/assignments McGonagall or Kingsley ask.

While everyone, including her father, think that her mother and sister were both killed by Death Eater werewolves, her younger sister, Ginger, actually survived. Hestia wishes she could tell her father, but ever since their supposed “death” he has hated werewolves, and even when she tiptoes around the subject of maybe one of them being alive, but being a werewolf, it sends him into fits of rage. She hides her sister in the attic of her flat and ushers her out, cloaked, with the others on full moons. (Kingsley knew, Ginger's friends know)
